To get an idea of how many versions of the film were floating around Hollywood until this point, here’s the list of various writers who all gave it a shot:

This was all before the film would eventually land in Lieberman’s hands. Interesting how they’ve given him the job when they could have pulled ANY draft off the shelf and make a movie out of it. The guy’s currently untested, but he has spec scripts all over Hollywood.

On a final note: there’s no mention of ‘Warner Animation Group’ anywhere. Wonder why that is?
