I was so happy HTTYD 2 won!! I mean I think it was the best of 2014, and I know people say Lego Movie was but I just thought that HTTYD 2 just stook with me and actually made me feel for the characters, and it doesn’t mean I don’t like any of the others but this one really needed it ^.^

I was kinda rooting for The Lego Movie, but like others said, it was a great year for animation and I didn’t really care which of the three won. They were all solid!

I couldn’t be happier, srsly I nearly cried when Where No One Goes came on *-*
As one of the BIGGEST fans of this franchise, I can’t describe how awesome it is that all the hard work, the effort, the breathtaking visuals are rewarded this much, and now I have no doubt that HTTYD 2 is a definite Oscar favourite!!! GOSH that would be the coolest thing ever, so don’t stop belieeeeeeving! ^___^

Congratulations to Dreamworks! They definitely deserved it with HTTYD2! This is the first time I think a Dreamworks movie deserved to win over Disney… Just barely though, as Big Hero 6 was fantastic. BUT, the building brick enthusiast in me was really hoping for The LEGO Movie to win. I didn’t just find that to be the best animated movie of the year, but one of my favorite movies of 2014 period! It truly was a great year for animation. Too bad they all couldn’t have won… Well, I think the REAL winners was us animated enthusiasts, who got to enjoy another year of some wonderfully crafted animated features!

Oh. Poor The Lego Movie. It was fan boys’ frontrunner. But then, congrats HTTYD2!

Oscars is quite unpredictable, but my bet is either The Lego Movie or some obscure animated movie. While I predicted Annie Awards will let The Lego Movie win this time unless they’re still pro-Dreamworks like in previous years esp. 2010, then HTTYD2 will once again sweep all their nominated categories.

2014 has been a great year for animation and to be honest I didn’t really care which film would win because I loved every single one of them. I’m very glad HTTYD2 because it was a fantastic film and my personal favorite animated film of last year.

I’m so happy for everyone that worked on it and for DreamWorks. Last year had a lot of good ones but HTTYD2 will still be my favorite out of the bunch.
