It was dramatic to watch Ezra fall into fears and then finding his inner light; yet also intimate as it dealt with the teacher’s conflict as much as the student. We know Ezra and Kanan don’t always express it but they do respect each other (Ezra tells Yoda that Kanan is a great master and Kanan insists he doesn’t doubt Ezra but himself) and this episode confirms for me that they *need* each other to bring out their best qualities.

Frank Oz’s voice as Yoda was warm and soothing, and again, so beautiful to have his presence in this episode guiding both Ezra and Kanan. And there’s something special when Yoda tells Kanan that he couldn’t “sense” him before but reassures him, “I am here because YOU are here”.

It feels just Like Empire Strikes Back. The character development between Ezra and Kanan is strong and seeing that makes the show even better. Hopefully we can see the legacy of these characters in episode 7
