Really glad this happened, becoz with 1 person taking over both studios, the quality of each studio are very unbalanced (DA in resurgence while Pixar in a slump). Dividing it like this will hopefully boost boths creative qualities.

In reply to Andrew Brinkerhoff. Ed Catmull was president of Disney Animation and Pixar. Seems ambiguous as to what his specific title is now, if it changes at all (co-presidency?). John Lasseter was (and is) Chief Creative Officer for Disney Animation, Pixar, and Disneytoon.

I hope they’re paying them millions upon millions of dollars while the animators are still hired as “temps” for single films and then let go! Sure wouldn’t want them to have to sell one of their dozen houses.
