Right. I didn't mean there was an error in timeline continuity, just a big stretch for Ingrid to live in a time long before that, only to step into the doorway and be transported through time. It seems like a quick band-aid to a thick plot.

I really think the sorcerer will turn out to be the author of the book. The apprentice kind of hints that when he tells Ingrid how one can change the course of their "happy endings" just before she goes through the door - which ties in with the whole thing of the alternative page that popped into Robin's satchel - and it would explain him knowing about Emma and where and when to send Ingrid.

I thoguht the episode was just so beyond epic and so glad it wasn't the
end of the first half since it felt just a little weird if it was, CAN'T
WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE!! and the two hours made sense seeing as the
flashback was the same and it made much impact in the entire two hours. I
have the feeling the sorceerer is someone we don't exactly see on the
show but rather the original Yen Sid to make it feel awesome, I BETTER
BE
RIGHT!! Well I don't see the Snow Queen as a villain but more like
misunderstood like Regina but the Snow Queen shows that she may be
misunderstood and I actually liked her a ton in the episode (Not for
hurting my poor Anna) but for how she really cares Emma and trying to
stop her, so she is just really cool and probably my top 20 character?
And IDK about the leaves on her cape but that would be funny to see on a
blooper reel! And the Shattered Mirror spell, hmmmmmmm I guess we'll
see the week after thanksgiving

Overall this was a very awesome episode, still not my favorite of the season but pretty awesome for what it was ^.^

Oh my glob this episode was so scary! Not because of all that was going on but since it was two hours long I was worried this was the winter finale! Towards the end I was all like "No! You can't do this! You can't make me wait until march, I'll die from the suspense!" But thankfully it's only two weeks. Phew!

As for the episode itself, it was GOOD! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, which is quite an accomplishment! I really like how they took advantage of the two hours so that we advanced all of the story arcs, especially with Regina and Robin. I kind of felt like their relationship was forced but I could finally believe in their chemistry in this episode. This actually has made me even more worried since I'm afraid that they're probably going to kill off Marian to make room for them, kind of like what they did with Neal in order to make room for Emma and Hook. Speaking of Neal, I am very disappointed in Rumple! Didn't he make a promise in front of his grave to be a better man? How could he, especially since Neal loved Emma!
Rumple came so far, even sacrificing his life to save the people he loved last season. I know I shouldn't be surprised since they've been showing him revert to his old ways throughout the season but they still haven't given us a proper explanation as to why. The heart-to-heart between Snow and Regina was nice, but throughout the whole thing I was just like "Shut up and RUN! Emma's life is at stake here!" XD

To answer your question, Ingrid is now my favorite villain, most villlains on this show are driven by simpler things compared to her: the desire for revenge for a dead lover, wanting power, envy for a sister with a better life, wanting to always stay young, etc. But Ingrid accidently killed her sister and is betrayed by the other one when she needed support most. All she wants is their love back. I really feel for her and hope that she does get a happy ending like the sorcerer promised while still enjoy watching her be the icy Queen that she is.... and this might seem random but where's Mulan? Isn't she one of Robin's merry men now? They should show us how she's doing, or how any of the merry men are for that matter since Robin's pretty important now.
