Same here Howl’s Moving Castle is my favorite Ghibli film because it reminds me of my other favorite Disney film Beauty and the Beast in a way!

Oh I see…yeah it’s pretty graphic, but definitely worth a watch. I’m just always astounded by how many people consider it their favorite Miyazaki film.

I for one, don’t think it’s better than even his top 5, but again, tastes differ. The themes are definitely strong and beautiful, but I think it still contains many flaws and it kind of bonks you over the head with its themes whereas films like “Spirited Away” and “Howl’s Moving Castle” fold their themes so intricately into the storyline that you only become conscious of them when you try to decipher the film for yourself.

I mean I don’t hate the concept but the blood in it just makes me draw away from it and no matter when I’ll watch it I’ll probably won’t be a die hard fan but maybe just decent fan from a distance

Now on blu-ray! But I’m not a fan…then again, I tend to have the complete opposite opinion of others, so you may love it!
