I’m not a big fan of Chris Columbus. I think his success with ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ was becuase he had a stellar cast that actually influenced the directing, instead of vice versa. As for his Harry Potter movies, the worst of the bunch in my opinion – HOWEVER, this is a new medium (even if he’s tried it before, it’s been a long time) so you never know. Maybe this is what his career has been waiting for.
