That’s what I’m hoping for, that it’ll pass onto the next fad and be seen as nothing more than a moment for Disney.

Actually, I need to re-phrase my comment, but I can’t delete the original so I’ll just add it here: my biggest issue with Frozen is that it felt like it had nothing going against it, no real risk. Most people already squeal when they hear Kristen Bell or Idina Menzel’s names, so with the two of them in it, it seemed there was absolutely no way it wouldn’t be a massive success, or that Anna and Elsa wouldn’t become instantly beloved the world over, because honestly, they just feel like Kristen and Idina’s animated alter egos – Bell starred in some Samsung tablet commercial recently and seemed virtually interchangeable with Anna personality-wise, same “adorkableness”, same snarkiness she apparently had on her TV show, yet apparently Empire (I think) thought she was worthy of being named one of the 50 best voice overs in a motion picture for just playing Kristen Bell – she’s like a real-life Mary Sue, can-do-absolutely-no-wrong-no-matter-what-everybody-loves-her. And Idina Menzel… yeah, enough said. These characters didn’t have to prove themselves lovable to audiences, because it seems people would love them just because Bell and Menzel voiced them (if I have just one reason to like Big Hero 6, it’s that the main cast is made up of little-noticed actors/actresses – not saying that’ll make the film better, but it’s a nice change of pace). Yes, I like Anna and Elsa as characters, but I find it more satisfying when actors actually start lower and are able to win over audiences (in Wreck-It Ralph, which isn’t even a personal favorite of mine, Sarah Silverman was able to surprise a number of people, maybe not a ton, but some, who were dreading her being in it, which satisfies me more than Kristen Bell, who everyone already adores, being acclaimed once again). I dunno, I’m at a rather cynical age right now, but I still enjoy Frozen a lot, this particular thing just gets under my skin.

Also, I clearly understand how someone could be sick and tired of the “Let It Go” movement that “Frozen” has done through little girls, Disneyphiles and just plain fans of the movie. Surely they wish they could tell the fandom to simply “Let It [Frozen] Go”, but thanks to what the Mouse House has planned for the future of this frosty family-friendly film, I doubt that’ll be happening anytime soon.
