Yes! This guy is AWESOME! So creepy, so malevolent, and so effective: he’s a villain who actually kind of defeats the heroes, albeit temporarily. And it helps that Jude Law’s voice is like velvet <3

I agree that “Rise of the Guardians” was one of Dreamworks better but underestimated films. And Pitch Black’s role has a lot to do because he isn’t a “funny” villain; this guy is 100% serious. Jude Law’s voice gave him a seductive menacing aura like a true Slytherin.

Pitch remind me of Loki from “Thor” and “Avengers” because there is bit of sympathy aligned with his desires. Like the Guardians, Pitch wants recognition and acceptance. But using fear and manipulation to get what he wants brings out the bully in him. And the way he torment Jack Frost pushes his cruelty even further.
