King Candy/Turbo has to be one of the most interesting Disney villains I can remember. I honestly remember watching WIR in theaters and honestly was so impressed by the world of arcade games come to life that I was completely sidetracked by his reveal of being Turbo. He seems to have a split personality – the kooky, crazy ruler and the psychotic… um, psycho… but I think he’s all psycho.

Also, THAT VOICE. Good lord, Alan Tudyk, you actually made me think King Candy was the Mad Hatter’s brother. XD

I really loved his back story a lot since well it is really relatable to Ralph but Ralph has a heart of gold compared to Turbo, yes I still like to call him Turbo since that is his real name and mainly cuz I hate that Turbo movie with the snail but I don’t hate THIS Turbo I was shocked how much I liked him

King Candy is right up there with my favorite villains. When I took my friends to see Wreck-It Ralph when it came to campus a few years ago, they loved it so much they insisted we come back the next night to see it again (totally abnormal for them), and a large part of that was because of King Candy. “Have some candy!” is an habitual insert into conversation whenever chocolate is mentioned.

Disney revival does seem to be fond of twist villains. I knew Candy was the villain when I saw the film but it did not bother me since he is quite entertaining.

One of my favorite villains, infact the revival era of Disney villains, are really up there with best of the best, except for Hans, if he could just show more of his opposite side then he could be good
