He is what makes Kung Fu Panda 2 substantially better than the first Kung Fu Panda. This analysis is spot on. On the surface he an elegant, calm, and “a complete psychopath”. Yet there is something about him that makes you feel like there is still hope for him. He’s so interesting making him my favorite character in the movie. One of the best villains I’ve ever seen in film.
