At first I thought it was a bit too rushed within the first 20 minutes, but then… something happened – things started to make sense and connect. By the end of it all, I was satisfied but felt all sorts of emotions that make me think it’s the “Moulin Rouge” of animation [except for the fact that it’s… done so much better… and I like “Moulin Rouge” too.].

Also, I swear if I didn’t already know that this was an European film, I would have thought Tim Burton had some sort of strong grip on making this.
