Oh my, that would mean all of Once was canon with the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe… I can imagine the fan explosion!! Haha

I had forgotten about John Lasseter’s set visit…. thinking back on what’s happened so far, I wonder what he had influence over?

Prince Charming, Rumpelstiltskin, Peter Pan, Hook, Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio and Robin Hood are all male fairytale characters that have had plenty of screen time in Once.

And now we have Kristoff if you need some more male time.

Once has a tendency to only give characters a couple episodes regardless of if they’re male or female.

Not surprised Hans got Frozen. Once has a tendency to not care about the male fairytale characters. And are happy to kill them, remove them after one or two episodes. It’s one of my irks with the shows. I admit I was hoping Once would be brave enough to do a do-over with Hans. That would have been something nice allow Hans to redeem himself because I still feel that it the weakest and most non-sensical part of the movie but I guess that would have meant spending time with a male character.

I was freaking out when I saw Knave and since my mom didn’t see the Wonderland show she thought I was crazy! and I squealed when Robin’s kiss didn’t heal Marion (sounds bad but I love Bandit Queen!) and I really wanted the Snow Queen to be as threatening as Zelena but I didn’t get that in this episode but I am still hoping for Bada**ness from her. And I call BS on Elsa’s memories erased, that is so not cool! and Hans was one of my favorites by how much he looks like in this and the movie! LOVED THE CASTING! and I really wanna see more of Kristoff and Anna interaction anyway these people can get since I just love them and I haven’t seen them together yet and I just really really REALLY want to see them together on the show!
So I give it an ok rating I mean I liked it a ton but not as much like the first episodes

Things I liked-
The Marvel comic books. Since Regina makes a remark comparing the comic books’ stories and compares them to the storybook that records the characters’ lives, why doesn’t ABC just make a crossover episode with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (assuming both shows take place in the same universe)!
Also, I found it very interesting about how Elsa’s “aunt” came to be. I know that the filmmakers had cut a lot of the characters’ backstories from Frozen due to the fear of it being too complex/confusing for the audience, but I wonder if the OUAT producers had any access to the people from Frozen (like Jennifer Lee) to consult with the story arc besides John Lasseter’s visit on the set.
And despite next weeks’ episode being titled “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, it looks like Rump’s gonna make Anna his apprentice. So much for wanting Yen Sid or Merlin on the show (or in my case, my hopes for having Bret Iwan playing some sort of Mickey Mouse character/incarnation, as Bret’s my hero!)

Kristoff is swiftly becoming my favourite Frozen character on Once Upon A Time. He’s sweet, caring, hilarious, snarky…I love him. And I love him and Elsa’s budding brother/sister relationship.

What the heck was the point of Hans?! Why were his brothers so condescending and awful to him, yet they let him LEAD them in the attack against Elsa?! I do not understand?! He felt shoehorned in, which makes me so sad, because Hans is one of my favourite Disney villains of all time…but this felt like a waste?!

Love that Emma and Hook finally had a heart to heart. Love that Robin’s still upholding his marriage vows like the awesome guy that he is. Love that the Knave had a little look-in, because that guy makes me happy to be alive. Wonder where his wife is, though? I hope they’re not going to ignore that plot point completely…I do love me some Scarlet Queen…
