In my view milking and capitalizing a hit is the same thing mainly because Disney and Warner Bros are just trying to make more money out of what is a hit. which is not a bad thing, companies need to make money, so Im gonna slightly change my opinion and say Warner is milking the theme of using legos to make a movie and sell more legos, however you can't say that Disney is not milking Frozen to sell more merchandise because .... They are. Im not here to start an argument here, because we don't do that here at the Rotoscopers, but im just stating my views. haha

In reply to Anthony Raphael. Warner Bros is announcing 3+ movies only months after the original one released, that's what I call milking. What Disney is doing with Frozen is capitalizing on a hit. Of course they're going to release extra merchandise etc. now the movie turned out to be a hit.

I disagree, this is not milking anything, Warner bros are making three completely different movies, the only thing similar between the 3 films is that they are using the same animation, and it has the word LEGO in the title. Disney which I love is clearly milking frozen as you said
“1 film, 1 upcoming short, a Broadway show, lots and lots of merchandise” and using frozen for one upon a time to gain more viewers and bring back frozen merchandinsing and displays back to the Disney Stores, all anounced less than a year the film has been out. That’s is called milking

Annebelle had the Conjuring’s director, James Wan, produce the film and it still didn’t do well critically. I’m hoping this doesn’t suffer the same fate since I’m a fan of the original. Plus, what other animated sequels have WB had besides Happy Feet 2? That movie didn’t do well. I’m not sure about this.

In reply to tt. I agree completely. I think the Lego spin-offs are really milking it. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't think Disney is milking Frozen. I thought Lego Bat man was funny in the Lego movie, but I think the humor is probably going to get old really fast when they try to stretch it out to an entire movie.

When people said Disney is milking Frozen, theyre wrong. 1 film, 1 upcoming short, a Broadway show, lots and lots of merchandise. That isn’t called milking.
Milking is this. Exposing people to similar things again and again. At least theres no sequel planned for Frozen, or thart’ll be called milking.

whats next? lots of lots of DC LEGO films? Ninjago 5, LEGO movie 15? possibly.
