Jafar Jafar, he’s our man! Jafar’s especially dangerous because he actually WINS for a while there. He becomes Saltan and becomes the most powerful sorcerer in the world. Only his own lust for power could defeat him. He’s excellent because he’s so sinister but entertaining at the same time.

He’s definitely one of the most entertaining baddies in the Disney gallery, a mustache-twirler of the highest order! What I liked is when Jafar gets his hands on the lamp, he goes all out: humiliate the Sultan, enslave Jasmine, rebuild the palace to his liking with PILES of gold everywhere! The dude’s got ambition. And his banter with Iago, a very competent sidekick, makes this duo quite intimidating yet comical. “What if YOU were da chump husband?!”

Now Jafar is probably my favorite male villain ever! He is just everything I hoped for, his style, his evil doings and that voice is just the best!
