"Whoever the villain in Cars 2 was". That was lame. The villains were Professor Z and Miles Axlerod, backed by the lemons. Anyone who paid attention would know that. What interesting and fun articles this site could have without the sarcasm towards John and other great filmmakers that work so hard to come up with exciting and complicated plots for adults as well as children. Stuff like that makes me not care to read more, and I know I'm not alone.

Awesome intro, Pablo! This is going to be a lot of fun. You're right that some villains cause a lot more damage than others; Scar uprooted the order of Pride Rock whereas Evil Stepmother focused on harassing just one person, Cinderella, but that doesn't play down her maliciousness either. Having an intimidating wardrobe (Cruella, Maleficent) entertaining sidekicks (Iago and Jafar) and a great song (Ursula, Gaston) are also pluses.

When it comes to complex motivations, Judge Frollo from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" stands out to me. He's drive by self-righteousness and in the name of "good" does a lot of cruel things, thinking he's purging the city while really losing the inner war between him and his prejudice. "Hellfire" is a thundering song too.
