I’m sorry, but something that seriously bothers me whenever a baby is involved in an animated project, is when they give the kid an adult voice. Not an adult voice that sounds convincingly child-like, like a woman doing a youthful sounding voice, but an actual, unaltered adult voice that fits the gender but doesn’t fit the design. That just feels so WRONG to me. I mean, I’m sure it was funny when it was originally used, but it’s no longer funny now. Far be it from me to suggest an animated film gets cancelled when there’s potential in the project, but if this film ultimately got canned, I honestly wouldn’t make a big deal over it.
