I loved the film, very charming and a lot better than I thought. Probably the weakest LAIKA film but then that’s like calling A Bug’s Life a weaker Pixar effort.

My only issue with the film was the marketing but then I’ve had that same issue with all of LAIKA’s promotion for their films. I’ve been skeptical with will all the films due to the trailers but once I give them a chance I have been proven wrong time and time again.

So I implore everyone to see this film not only because I want people to see it but I want to see LAIKA’s next offerings.

Well I won’t see this in theatres since I am still unsure but I believe you and I will see it either way

I’m still not sure if I want to watch this. I love Laika’s films and especially enjoyed ParaNorman which I saw in theaters and I always want to support stop motion animation. But at the same time, most of the reviews seem to agree that the movie only succeeds at being a technical masterpiece but has a predictable storyline. Should I go see it or just wait for The Book Of Life?

Saw it last night. Its not LAIKA’s best film, but it’s still a wonder to behold, even during the grosser parts. Lol. Plus there were some cast members in the movie I had no idea were even there until the credits roll! You wouldn’t believe how some of the voice actors were able to transform their voices for this film! Enjoyable!

Wow! That’s the first big positive review I’ve heard about this movie while the rest I’ve heard were kinda mixed. Oh well. I’m all geared to see this movie on Saturday.
