The Avatar franchise might not be over forever. They made comic books about Avatar: The Last Airbender quite a few years after the series ended.

Holy cow that IS soon. :O
And as happy and giddy and excited as I am about it (BELIEVE YOU ME) it just feels so terribly … rushed.
I mean, no kidding, I HATE to wait for something to be released as much as the next guy. But I barely even coped with the blast of emotion that was the Book 3 finale, and now they’re throwing Book 4 in our faces less than 2 months later. I don’t know .. maybe I’m just not ready to face another big portion of feels yet ..
I’m probably just sad because this will probably be the last piece of original Avatar franchise we’ll ever get .. there will be games, maybe even spin-off comic (like The Promise, The Search, The Rift following the Aang storyline), but still .. it’ll be over. And that makes me kinda melancholic, because this series has literally been my entire childhood, and I followed it from beginning to end, so .. to sum up: mixed feelings. :/
