Yeah, good point about the aliasing. I guess I didn&#039;t notice it was stretched out to 16:9 (probably because this is the first time I&#039;ve watched the series)! Now I have to go back and watch Animated to make sure that wasn&#039;t stretched. Still, I like it better than a fixed 4:3 ratio.]]></description>

I&#039;m a bit puzzled still. I actually have the disc playing right now and it&#039;s 4:3 / 1.33:1. It looks good stretched out to 16:9 though. The transfer in general looks fantastic, it scales up nicely to HD and looks better than Shout Factory&#039;s release of Beast Wars. That had more to do with Beast Wars being an older cartoon with less advanced CGI I think though, so the aliasing present in the source shows up easily on HD screens, but Beast Machines doesn&#039;t have that issue.]]></description>
