I really enjoyed reading this review, because it was SO. DAMN. TRUE.

This finale really blew my mind (and P'lis, not even sorry) and I honestly couldn't have imagined it any other way. I was satisfied how they handled everything (although the image of Korra crying at the ceremony will haunt me until Ep 1 of Book 4) and I cannot even express my admiration for Bryke and how they managed to create one of the most beautiful, heartwearming scenes (Jinora's ceremony) after all of ... well, THIS.

So, I couldn't be more psyched for the last book, but on the other hand, I'll need some time to get over the fact that this season to come will most likely be the last piece of franchise we'll get for a long time. And no, I'm not crying.

I really enjoyed the season! I mean the ending episodes were so awesome, and I totally squealed at Lord Zuko! And I liked how he mentioned how he tried to kill the avatar, that was just too funny to me! and I really liked the girl who had that fire blowing forehead and zaheer mainly for their romantic relationship! I was sad when she got blowed up

This is one fantastic comment!

I did love Zuko's reaction to hearing about Iroh. If they reunite I'm going to be a mess.

And yeah. We need the Fire Nation and we need to see Zuko's daughter!

This finale was SO FREAKING GOOD. I have never been so simultaneously happy and devastated than I was during Jinora's airbending master ceremony and seeing her being celebrated while Korra is sitting there just so utterly broken. I'm hoping/assuming Korra will be in that same or very similar state when Book 4 starts - there is just too much character development to deal with for them to skip ahead and be all "what? that was like TWO WEEKS AGO. She's totes fine now!!!"

My personal fav Red Lotus member was Ghazan - he's obviously not conflicted on being on the bad side, but he also was so intrigued by Team Avatar and was actually impressed with Bolin in their showdown bc of his lavabending. I LOVED that - if he hadn't killed himself (man, KIDS SHOW am i right?!) I feel like maybe he would've pulled a Zuko and switched sides at some point. While I'm glad our Airbenders & Friends are safeish for now, I am sad that 3/4 of the Red Lotus members we've met so far were eliminated in this episode.

As much as I loved seeing Iroh again (he's one of my all-time favorites) I think I loved Zuko's reaction to Korra seeing Iroh even more. And Bolin being such a fangirl over all the original Gaang members is never not hilarious.

And in answer to your final question - OF COURSE we need to see more baby sky bison! Hopefully since the Air Nation will be nomadic next season, not only will we see the new Fire Nation (we HAVE to go there since we've been everywhere else at this point...right?) but hoping we also have a little heard of sky bison hanging out all season. More adorable spirits would be good too. (Not enough BumJu this season)

Sorry I'm talking so much! Haha - did anyone else see that even Forbes was picking on Nick for being a disaster this season? http://www.forbes.com/sites/merrillbarr/2014/08/23/the-legend-of-korra-will-outlive-nickelodeons-short-sighted-business-decisions/

I know some of it was motivated by the leaked NickMexico episodes (and I believe the general rumors that the darkness of the later eps was a factor of deciding to 180 and put it solely online - that happened RIGHT before the Earth Queen's demise after all...) but man, it was just SUCH a mess. Hoping they handle next season better.

Same. I think Korra may go through some sort of character arc before she goes back to normal, but I don't want them to kill TOO much time doing that. Unforunately, the series is almost over, and they can't kill the limited time they have on only Korra.

Great comparison to Book 1. This was like a better version, especially since it wasn't confined to Republic City.

Also, does anyone else suddenly have the NEED to get to know Zuko's daughter?

My reaction to Iroh back in Book 2 was actual arm-flailing. Maybe I wasn't that excited this time because i had just seen every episode of AtlA so I didn't miss him as much!

I do hope this broken Korra isn't fixed when Book 4 starts. I love consequences. And since the Air Nomads are going to be like Jedi Knights and keep the peace, Korra will have some time to recover. Imagine if we see her struggle for many of the episodes, clawing her way back to recovery...just imagine how satisfying it would be when she finally recovers and is the ass-kicking Korra we know. I would cheer so hard.

Hey, I like Korra better than Aang too! I love Aang but Korra is just so strong. Of course, maybe if we were younger we'd relate to Aang more!

I guess Kuvira is part of the Red Lotus? Although she saved Tonraq. They did make sure we noticed her, didn't they?

I really wish Ming-Hua and Ghazan weren't dead. That little moment in the truck when Bolin was trying to guess their pasts was so fun. In fact, although I thought Zaheer was great, he was probably the least interesting of them all!

Jinora definitely looked like Aang and I may have teared up a little. And by that, I mean I was bawling.
