I just saw it yesterday! I loved it! Rocket pretty much stole my heart. I wouldn’t take my kids to it though. Language and sexual jokes and all.

I like what you said about the music being relevant. Did anyone notice that when they were escaping, the Piña colada song was playing? Not a lot of people know that the original title of the song actually is “Escape”. Plenty of Easter eggs like that are scattered throughout for the seasoned Marvel fan.

I found this movie to be extremely clever in its humor! Guardians of the Galaxy further enforces the idea Avengers had that not all big Summer action movies have to be dark and brooding. My advice is to see it now with a packed theater because the laughter is infectious and this film has its tongue planted firmly in its cheek!
