In reply to tt. True. The Tinker Bell films are actually pretty good at storytelling and the animation is at least consistent and a bit vibrant, especially considering they're direct-to-DVD.

Man, that animation though….it was a great kid’s series, very popular too, of course it deserves to be made into a fitting movie! I wish it was live-action. Then I wouldn’t be commenting on the craptastic animation.

Well when I was hoping for a Boxcar children movie, maybe it could be live action. I mean I read the first book and it was my first chapter book growing up and I just want a nice mature film and I just don’t see it here

Oh boy. I LOVED these books as a kid and read pretty many in the series. As an adult now, I was still kind of curious when I heard this was going to be made into a movie. After seeing the trailer and the horrible animation, I’m a little disappointed. If I wanted to watch animation like this, I’d just watch some video game cut scenes on one of my old consoles. It might have been better just to do this as a direct to DVD live-action movie instead.
