What a craptastic idea, Disney. Poor old Walt was turning in his grave when ‘Maleficient’ came out, and now they’re making Dumbo into a CGI character too? Why don’t you leave the classics alone and make NEW movies, Disney? We’d all like that much better, thank you, and you’re welcome. :-l

For the live action remakes, here is my humble opinion:
Alice- weird, but entertaining enough
Oz- didn’t see it
Maleficent- didn’t see it, but didn’t think it was faithful enough
Cinderella- Lots of potential
Beast- Excited for it. Hope they don’t kill it.
Cruella- Glenn Close. No one can beat her. A useless adaption
The Jungle Book- Maybe, but haven’t we seen this before
Dumbo- ehh

I don’t really see the point of creating a live-action version of this. This story is essentially made for animation and there would have to be a ton of CGI to pull off the whole flying elephant concept. Like someone else said, that defeats the purpose of making it a live-action film entirely. I wonder if they’ll include the infamous pink elephants on parade scene that I find creepy.
