I believe that SpongeBob SquarePants is still around because of Executive Meddling. The First SpongeBob SquarePants movie was to be the Series Finale. I do like some cartoon shows, but I feel that sometimes they should be cancelled if they have been on too long.

i will wait for the trailer to judge. When i heard about Snoopy in CG i hate the idea, but the trailer convince me that something good could come out of it. so i will wait for the trailer to see if they can save sponge bob from his fate to turn out something like garfield or scooby doo.

In reply to Blake Taylor. Understandable, but that's marketing execs talking. It's also another horribly-designed movie poster (A rip on Coppertone, really?). I understand what they are going for, but I'm sure they will release a trailer to let audiences know it's not all-CG. Otherwise, posters like this one here are just misleading.
