Okay, i feel like there are WAAAY too many “backstories” of the “poor villains” in media. Maleficient’s plotline gave me indigestion and it looks like I have to hold on for THIS ride. Ugh!

Then again, i really like Greek mythology and maybe it’ll be a good movie. Everyone in the comments is talking about Lauren Faust and I guess i should be optomistic 😛

Is it just me or the logo looks a lot like Disney’s Hercules?

I think the premise is great, sounds like a really fun movie. Any chances of hand-drawn animation?

Lauren Faust is behind this? I am so seeing this. She hasn’t disappoint me yet. She created an amazing cartoon MLP so I’ll see anything with her behind it.

This sounds interesting. I enjoyed Powerpuff Girls and MLP, but I didn’t quite like Foster’s. I do hope the movie is done in a similar style to the shows she’s worked on.

Also, Sony seems to be picking up Cartoon Network veterans (the other being Genndy Tartakovsky). I wonder if her husband will be hired at some point.
