I understand adapting Disney’s greatest animated films to live action, but why are they making another 101 dalmatians movie, and jungle book movie? Didn’t they already make those? Glenn Close made a great Cruella, who could compare?! And judging by the title, it seems Cruella de Ville is going to get the Maleficent treatment, which is cool, but I hope she stays evil, and is not redeemed, because I don’t think you can justify wanting to kill and wear innocent puppies! I think a wise move for Disney would be to make Frozen or Tangled (I’m not sure how they’d do the hair) because those are their most successful films in recent years, in the box office, critically, and merchandise wise. The only question is how they can change the stories to make them unique.

I wish Disney would stop remaking their animated classics into live action. What’s the point? I hated Maleficent, and I have a feeling these upcoming movies will be no different.
