I don’t think its a miracle Frozen did as well as it did, its just what happens when a film as great as it is noticed. It takes a while to get out of the gate, but it does eventually. It’d be great if BH6 keeps the second Disney Renaissance going, they’ve gotta keep the crown from Pixar for a couple more years.

In reply to Morgan Stradling. I went into Frozen only having seen the Olaf/Sven teaser and I feel like I was happier not knowing anything. That's the plan for future films from now on! It isn't like I need to be convinced to see the films, ha ha. That's the point of the trailers, right? To convince someone to get to the theater? My ticket is practically already purchased as it is! :)

Did you seriously just say that Frozen was at best decent? What happened to all those months of hype you pumped into it? I mean, yeah, the marketing for Big Hero 6 is way better than the marketing for Frozen but are you really ditching Frozen for Big Hero 6?

While I think it’s one of THE cutest teaser trailers I’ve ever seen (I mean come on, who couldn’t just squeal in admiration over Batmax), it kinda worries me that while Frozen had some of the worst marketing I’ve ever seen (Thank God for the Elsa trailer though!) and it ended up being one of the biggest Disney films, I’m afraid that BH6 will have fantastic ads and TV spots but end up being, well, for lack of a better word: crap. If it ends up being a pretty decent start for Marvel to start doing animation, then it ends up being a pretty decent start for Marvel to start doing animation. But I’m not going to give final opinion until I see the movie! Hope you do something right Disney: get the ads AND movie right!

I was actually disappointed with this teaser, which is kind of a good. Watching this trailer not only reminds of the first Frozen teaser, but also the first Tangled teaser, which also was a generic audience grabber. Those two teaser had me dreading the movies, which I eventually loved, so hopefully the same applies with Big Hero 6.

I know the core of the film is going to be Hiro & Baymax, but since the film is called “Big Hero 6”, I was really hoping to see the whole team (possibly even that action sequence that was shown this past D23). I wish Hiro was a bit more Asian and anime-esque, but I digress, since everything LOOKS good.

But I agree wholeheartedly with Morgan, this teaser is lightyears better than the initial Frozen teaser
