In reply to Abosuba. That was supposed to be the original cover. I'm not sure why they switched it, but anything's better than that icky pink dress they put her in, which is wrong, since she's blue in the movie.

In reply to Why?. You could just buy the Blu/DVD/DC combo. It is only a five dollar difference, that way you can save up for a Blu-ray player for when they go on sale around the holiday season. Then you don't risk losing the chance to own the special features when the movie goes OP, but you also have the DVD copy as well. Just a suggestion...

I feel like the cover for the bluray is not the final one. If you look closely, Diablo’s beak, you’ll see that the sleeping beauty tittle is missing a chunk. Also I don’t like that the Tittle is centered like that (why just ruin their new trend of having the title vertically to the side). And Maleficent and Aurora aren’t shaded the same way, I like the shading in the DVD cover way better. Also there’s just awkward empty space around Aurora’s hands now that they got rid of her basket. I love the colors for both covers but they (at least the bluray) really don’t belong with the other diamond edition covers. Also youd think they would have the digital copy cover have that circular frame like Disney’s most recent Diamond Edition princess releases (and Jungle Book). Sleeping Beauty is in my opinion one of the most beautiful looking animated Disney movies ever, and its frustrating that this new bluray cover isnt so great especially after the platinum edition bluray, that cover was AMAZING.
