It’s hard to believe that more than 10 years has passed since RSE first came out. Even though I enjoyed playing the Gen III games (including FRLG), it’s hard for me to get into them (and the games before) now because they don’t have the physical/special split that Gen IV introduced, which improved a lot of Pokémon for me. So I’m glad to later have a Hoenn game that has this feature.

Also, I’m hoping for a remake of this music 😉

Sapphire was my favorite so I’m excited! For me the storyline of sapphire was the most enthralling for me of all the games, especially that crazy monsoon near the end! I hope there’s a monsoon to save the world from in the remake too. I also really liked the different areas in the adventure, like the volcano ash town, the treehouse town, the desert, and the town you have to dive underwater to get to.

I’ve been a fan of Pokemon since the beginning and I found out this on Monday when I was in the hospital. Hearing this made me so damn excited. I hope eventually they would do a Yellow, Crystal, Red, Blue and Emerald version in the future. That would make me very happy.

I didn’t get Ruby or Sapphire when they first came out since I figured a “third version” like Yellow or Crystal would be released. And it did as Emerald, which I then got. Too bad its “internal battery has run dry.” I’m hoping Emerald’s features will be in the remakes.

Definitely excited. This generation got me into Pokemon in the first place (can’t believe it’s been 11 years!) and I can’t wait to see all the new changes they make. Another reason to look forward to November!
