I agree! It’s not like Disney will be forced to do anything, but this is an opportunity that they can consider. I doubt that Disney would make an entire film about this animal, but it could definitely be a sidekick or have a cameo or something! We have both Zootopia and Moana coming up, two movies in which this animal wouldn’t be out of place.

Besides, if Disney could put one in one of their films and then tout their animal love, that would be great for their public image.

You’d be surprised. Recent documentaries have been changing a lot of things. Just recently “Blackfish” not only influenced “Finding Dory”s ending, but also helped push new law proposals in California banning some of SeaWorld’s inhumane practices. I don’t think these actions would have been possible without such a strong documentary as “Blackfish”. “The Cove”, is another documentary that has pushed new legislation proposals about dolphin hunting.
