One thing that I was most impressed with is how they did all that singing and dancing while the ship swayed to and fro. This was what I remember most about the cruise. It was much better than the musical review they did the other night. It was basically a bunch of songs from a selection of films. Good… but not Hercules Good.

I went to Disney World around the same “Hercules” came out and I remember the Victory Parade and meeting Herc and Meg in person. It was before I saw the movie. And I remember Herc saying to me and my sister, just like in the movie, “Well just try a little bit more careful next time. Ok, kids?”. Wow, what an underrated legacy it was.

I’m so jealous! I LOVE Hercules and would have loved to have seen this back in the day.

Still gotta make it onto a Disney cruise one of these days….

I think from a historical perspective, Disney tried to promote this film a lot in the late 90s and early 2000s. But the film grossed less at the box-office compared to the other Disney animated films. So by and large, Disney considers this film to be a disappointment. Even Mulan gets way more attention than this film.
