Disney isn’t the only one. its now a trend I guess, to make live action fairy tales: Alice in Wonderland, Mirror Mirror, Snow White and the Huntsman, Maleficent, Hansel and Gretel.
and Disney isn’t the only one doing jungle book. warner bros is gonna make another jungle book to compete with Disney as well as a peter pan and tarzan film.

Oh dear. I knew Disney was going a little crazy with the live action adaptations, but The Jungle Book? Beauty & The Beast? Cruella??? (Didn’t we get a live action treatment of dalmations a few years ago?)

I’m skipping this film. I don’t appreciate Disney trying to remake movies that they already made and are perfectly fine as they were. I am intrigue by Maleficent, but live action Jungle Book is a no-go for me.

I didn’t realize Jon Favreau was directing this. I guess that means the Magic Kingdom film is off the books?
I like the live-action remakes so far but I hope they don’t overdo the genre. I enjoyed Alice but didn’t care much for Oz. Really looking forward to Maleficent, though!
