This is easily my most favorite movie of all time. When I was younger I watched this movie basically everyday of my life. To the point where my parents would try to hide the VHS tape and then be frustrated when I always found it. I had a Simba plush that I had gotten from Disneyland that is still around to this day as well as a few other characters that I have collected over the years. This movie is perfect. As a grown adult of 20-something I will watch this movie still fairly often and especially on sick days. When I took a Shakespeare class in college we had to do Hamlet, and I remember requesting to the professor if we could watch Lion King as it was completely related and he actually agreed. I have bought each re-release of this movie including the recent Walt Disney Signature Edition. Because Disney loves live action remakes these days I am very nervous to see what will be produced, but I really want it to succeed.

Ok, I never had the lion king game, but I did have this one Disney princess game for the DS that would have the same saving problem. No matter how far in the game I got I’d have to restart every time I reopened the gaming system. I had to play for hours to finally beat the game, which really made it less fun.

Never did see the film on the big screen when it came out, but saw it in 3D simply to get it out of the way a couple years back. Have it on LaserDisc!

Hey Morgan, Chelsea and Mason! I just listened to this broadcast, I was away on vacation for a while which is why I had not commented on anything for a while. Great podcast! The Lion King is one of my favorite Disney movies! I know every song in this movie. I just Can’t Wait to Be King is my favorite!
