Timon and Pumba saved Simba. They made it possible for him to not die in self hatred and tears. they distracted him and let him grow up – they kept him alive. Simba was a spoiled child that never had to take responsibilities for his actions – the only character that was able to reach his heart was his father. after his death, Simba was completely alone. Rafiki knew why he let Simba grow up before confronting him again.

Aladdin is , like Mulan, way to political.

the problem with Mulan was the critical political point it tried to make. it also was way to “militarized” for the time it came out. I am sorry but as a kid I want to see something beautiful, not a chinese war story of patrichary and bigotry.

How can you even CONSIDER Frozen to be the best movie disney ever made? Frozen is a totally generic Ice Queen jerkoff with music that could only appeal to 9 year old female only-childs with a tick for glitter dresses.

How can you relate? Are you a X-Men with Freezing Powers and nearly killed your Sister? Just wondering. Or did you build a Icecastle in the Mountains?

maybe they just found Elsa and Anna’s story to be more heartwarming (no pun intended) than Simba’s.

and believe it or not, I’ve seen people who actually hate Simba and have said that his story is beyond cheesy…

Maybe because Frozen is loosely based on the Snow Queen?

And besides, just because something didn’t follow the source material properly doesn’t make it bad.

Harry Potter, LOTR, Civil War all had source materials but they changed a lot of aspects to make them fit for cinema.
