In fact, part of the credit for the Lion King’s success really needs to go to the executives who CALLED it the B Film, because it created a situation where the animators strove to do work beyond their limits just to prove it could be great.

That’s cool about Cheech and Chong. I didn’t know that one! Another happy accident that led to a perfect storm of luck for the film I guess.
