I was worried that the actress who plays Aurora wasn’t pretty enough, but my fears are assauged now that I’ve seen more of her.

1. The fake fairies (even Julia Roberts in Hook looked better)
2. No sight of Aurora’s mother.
3. Still not liking Maleficent not being green-skinned, I’m almost sure it’s because of Wicked comparisons, but it was such an iconic characterisation for me that I wanted to see it live.

Anyway, I think it will be awesome.

Well that’s why I said the visuals look “somewhat” nice. They’re nice to look at, but they’re nothing amazing nor commendable. It’s exactly the same feel as the “Alice in Wonderland” look.
