I’m exited for “Minions” but not for “the grinch”. I think they could just make something like “Fox in Socks” although I think that will be a failure.

I loved the adaptation of the Lorax, so good! It was my fav seuss story. 🙂 Can’t wait for Grinch, looks promising, although there are already a few Grinch movies made…
But DM3…no. Just no. A sequel was enough. This is just a cash grab for Illumination Entertainment. I didn’t even like DM2 that much, so i’m definetly not excited for DM3 or Minions.
Ugh, why do studios just do this thing of making more and more movies like Ice age and Shrek? i’m sick of those- there’s enough already! what next, Despicable me tv shows and shorts?!

In reply to Haley TheRadiant. In the context in which I used that term, it means someone who wants the movie to stay true to the source material. I personally don't care how similar it is to the book as long as it's good. Yeah, it's definitely not timeless, but I enjoyed it!

A Grinch remake? Oh dear, I admit I rather despised The Lorax, and Horton is solid ‘eh’ territory for me. Despicable Me 2 I found hilarious but there was a lot to be desired in terms of plot, character development and generally everything other than humour. I’ll probably end up watching everything except The Grinch. I honestly don’t think I can take another Seuss remake.

i heard theyre doing more dr seuss. if illumination gets really famous, itll be famous for its dr seuss adaptations, like how Disney is famous for fairy tales.
