As a father who sat through this movie because I have young girls, I knew while watching it the movie was made by Disney to eventually be put on Broadway. All the songs are sung in that manner for good or bad.

YAY! ok now obviously, Idina Menzel would be too old to play Elsa, who’s supposed to be like 21. Maybe Lea Michele? If they can get Kristen Bell amid her filming the Veronica Mars movie, that would be perfect…Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, and i honestly don’t care about Hans because of obvious reasons. Then really anyone from a comedy could play Olaf.

I hope they put the fan-made Elsa version of “Snowman” in there.. it’s beautiful! And let’s PLEASE give Kristoff more than the reindeer song,especially if they do get Groff. I think if they incorporate the king and queen more before they die that might add a little something. And maybe add some more “sisterly” moments between Anna and Elsa…idk. I just wonder how they’re going to transfer Elsa’s powers from the screen to the stage…especially in the instrumental part just before the bridge during the bridge of “Let It Go”…

I hope for Broadway to give Elsa more songs and for Kristoff and I wanna know more about Hans and his past even though he mentioned that in the movie (SPOILER)

Disney took the time to turn “Newsies” into a Broadway show and after seeing it for myself, I’ll admit they did a great job transforming from film to a stage production. The story was streamlined and flowed smoothly. The layout of the stage was focused on the use of steel frames moving back and forth. (Some shows are almost too “over the top” with use of props and motions that it distracts from the characters and songs.)

Personally if they take their time to work this out and plan it through carefully, I think it’ll be lovely as “Beauty and the Beast” or “The Lion King” on Broadway. The opening melody of “Frozen Heart” would be great to watch as an opening number on the stage.

Is it also wrong the fact that I made my own version of what the musical’s soundtrack came out when I first found out about this and what they should do for Let It Go, Vuelie and the “Turning the Phone off” speech?
