I’m probably the only one looking forward to Planes 2, but I can understand anyone’s doubt for it. If it ends up being a Cars 2 for Planes, I’ll be sorely disappointed.

If you don’t count Megamind name me one movie where Will Ferrell is a bad guy. And 2…I think the trailer and Hiccup speaks for itself on How To Train Your Dragon 2.

I would say HTTYD 2, Big Hero 6 and Boxtrolls will be the leading animated movies of the year for various reasons. HTTYD 2 is because of the success of the first movie. Big Hero 6 because Disney animation is in a CG renaissance with Tangled, Wreck It Ralph, and Frozen. And Boxtrolls because of the acclaim of Coraline and ParaNorman.
