I admire the amount of detail put into this (the hair, the textures, etc.) but for me Star Wars the Clone Wars is the superior show. The animation all around is definitely better, and that show did some amazing things with story and visuals that computer animation on television hadn’t accomplished before. And they weren’t afraid to tackle dark subjects as time went on. That show had a high body count. Even the heroes killed from time to time when absolutely necessary.

Speaking of which, how come the Rotoscopers website never reports on what Lucasfilm Animation is up to with the upcoming Star Wars Rebels show? There’s been some great details released on the show, the main villain has been revealed, and there’s been some great featurettes with the folks running the show (Dave Filoni, Greg Weismann, Simon Kinberg) that have been released over the past month. This site has talked about recent animated series before (Korra & Avatar), yet not a peep about the amazing things that Lucasfilm Animation is giving us. Why is that?

Though the animation is a bit too blocky for my liking. I think Total Drama should get some credit for attracting older audiences to cartoons though. Adventure Time is too weird for my liking.
