EVERYTHING, this is one of my favorite mickey films. It is enchanting! I adore the aniamtion, but the bluray transfer is hedious, suffers from the exact same problems as Sword in the Stone did. Still, this is def a holiday classic that I watch every single year on christmas. I found Jim Carrey’s film so bland, I didn’t liked it at all, felt there was nothing really special about it. A Christmas Carol has HUNDREDS of adaptations, I’ve seen many of them, and that one was by far one of my least favorites, even the muppets film was better achieved. Still, of all the Disney versions this one is DEF my favorite.

I’m a huge fan of the “A Christmas Carol” story and love all the film adaptations that I’ve seen of it be it this one, the Alistair Sim one, the George C. Scott one, the Albert Finney one, the Jim Carrey one, or my personal favorite, the animated one featuring Tim Curry as the voice of Scrooge.

But “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” is still well-loved by me! The animation is great and the characters are wonderful and they manage to fit everything in half an hour. One of my favorite things about this version is the inclusion of not very famous characters including the characters from the “Mr. Toad” segment of “The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad”.
