The bangs got swept back a bit with her braid, kinda as if she ran her hand through the top part of her hair, and then they froze in place:-)

thank you for posting this tutorial my 5 yo going on 6 wants to be elsa for her bithday she wants a frozen themed party, and its just my luck she didn’t want the off the rack elsa as the snow queen she wants corination elsa so glad you posted this tutorial on her hair my next step to make a child sized version of the corination dress.

Thank you! I just tried this using a herringbone braid where you said to hold it with a clear bobble, and it works. I have very fine hair, but even I can pull this style off in less than five minutes! This is going to be my new every-day style, I think!

Absolutely fantastic style! Plus it’s easy and fun! I did my hair like this for a fundraiser my choir friend was doing (I was her accompaniment on piano). She got to pick any ‘pop culture’ song she wanted, so OF COURSE we did ‘Let It Go’. Her hair was in a French braid, and our event was one of the most popular of the night! (Both of our styles we got from this site!)

In reply to Cat. I've done it and it works, you just have to try it a few times. The spiraled version, if you DO do it with a braid, looks a little more messy, but it's possible... and more time consuming to get it right. Especially since I try and have only one bobbypin so I can let it go in the same fashion. I'm just that dedicated to Frozen.

In reply to Kay. I said this to another person already, so I'm gonna copy and paste what I wrote: I've managed to do this with a braid. If you start the twist, leaving bangs down (I don't have bangs though), and once you get to where you'd put the rubber tie in, you just start braiding a French braid, tying the end off. Then you twist the braid around into the spiral, pinning it the same way as here. If you use a spinpin you only need one, but if you twist it a certain way, you can do it with one bobypin. It'll be a little wobbly though. Then, you can pull the pin out all dramatic like, throwing your hair around as you do, and you get how hers became a braid. It's not impossible, just a little more time consuming. But the coronation version is a little less perfect looking this way.
