I've been waiting for news like this. For anyone who've played any of the recent Sonic games on PS2, PS3, or the Wii, the opening story animations are always phenomenal with some amazing lighting, texturing, shading, and rendering. Some of my favorite opening story scenes are from Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity from PS2 and also Sonic Unleashed which was released on PS2, PS3, and Wii. If the animation is up to the quality of these opening scenes, I will definitely be excited to see it!

I love Sonic! But I can't help but be worried, since we don't have a lot of good movies based on an actual video game. But I'm going to be optimistic, you never know right? I'm also hopeful for the Rachet and Clank movie. Thanks for the info, keep it coming!
