I’m rather appalled that My Little Pony:FIM was not even recognized for best TV series or even best MUSIC in an animated TV series, some of the songs are broadway worthy. “This Day Aria”? “Twilight’s Transformation” anyone? I haven’t heard of other cartoons tackling musicals on tv.

Also ponies has prettier Flash animation and production design than some of the other picked Flash shows..as far as my taste goes anyway.

lets hope here that Disney win both best animated feature for Annie and Oscar. what about Golden Globe? Pixar had basically won all for the past years, and shouldn’t Frozen win this year?
imagine toy story and the lion king were released at the same year, who do u think will win?

Well….I don’t know if the Academy is going to nominate Frozen because I can guess that some of the images are Christmas-related. And the Academy has been snubbing Christmas films like “Arthur Christmas” and “The Polar Express”, if you know what I mean.

If “Frozen” doesn’t win the Best Animated Feature award, I’d be genuinely shocked!

Regarding the Best Voice Performance in an Animated Feature nominations, I feel that Billy Crystal should NOT have been nominated. If someone from “Monsters University” deserved a nomination, I would have chosen Joel Murray. Also, I was very impressed with Paul Giamatti’s voicework in “Turbo”, but I feel Bill Hader’s performance was more worthy of a nomination.

If I had to pick a winner, I’d pick Josh Gad for “Frozen”, although I feel somebody from “Despicable Me 2” will win that award.

I agree. Actually, I saw Brave after I saw Wreck It Ralph. At the time I wasn’t able to see Brave in theaters when it first came out. But Wreck It Ralph felt so fresh and engaging while Brave I was talking in head head saying “Seen this before…seen that before.” Yes Brave’s animation is gorgeous but the story needed tweaking in some areas. Wreck It Ralph did not need any tweaking.

In reply to Brandon Kelly. I was disappointed too. I loved both films, but Wreck-it Ralph was way better, so it was finally the chance for WDAS to win an Oscar (or a Golden Globe) for that category. But I don't know what got into their minds, Oh well, here's hoping for Frozen to win this time!

In reply to Fadi Antwan. That's true. I think fans were disappointed last year because while Wreck It Ralph won the Annie, it did not win the Golden Globe or the Oscar. I think Frozen will win this time.

I think you meant to say “6th most nominations ever received.” There are 10 films that got more nominations than Frozen and Monsters University in the past.
