In reply to Mari. Um, they were really short. Maybe hip-high to a human? Or smaller? Hard to tell people they were flying for the most part. Either way, I did not like the way they looked... :/

In reply to The Animation Commendation. I think you have the Evil Queen and Maleficent confused on "Once Upon a Time." Maleficent was only in the first season and it was for only one or two episodes. The Evil Queen (from Snow White) is Regina.

In reply to Morgan Stradling. As far as size goes, is it like hobbits and humans, or hobbits and Gandalf? (Sorry, that's the only scale example I could think of!) I really hope they don't make them comically short.

1. Maleficents skin is actually white in the movie. that was stated by the artists. but when something is white it can take on the appearance of other colors that dominate the backgrounds, so in order to make her skin not stick out like a sore thumb, and be correct in coloring, they gave her greenish skin in most scenes for green was a big color in the backgrounds of those scenes

2. Im excited for the movie since she is my favorite disney character, but the synopsis makes it sound so bad. They want you to feel for Maleficent. Thats not right. I want to know why she is so mean, but not because she was betrayed and that thing.

I am kind of unsure about this movie. I mean, I am all for learning more things about some of the more compelling Disney characters (and Maleficent is compelling for sure), but I just hope they don’t try to , uh, make us sympathize with her. You know, like how they did with the Wicket Witch of the West in Oz: The Great and Powerful.

I’m also not the biggest Angelina Jolie fan….. But i’ll admit that she looks the part!

I’ve never been excited about this film. But, I’ve recently got into “Once Upon a Time” (an AMAZING show, in my opinion), and I think Angelina Jolie would play a better Maleficent than the actress who plays her in the show.
