I have also been avoiding the new shorts, and I think I still will. I loved the story, and the take in animation – it was beautiful, but some things are sacred for me. Having Mickey and Goofy only in traditional animation is one of those things.

But I love how they’ve extended the scope of their traditional stories, like the screaming and dropping stuff and running away, to coming back and picking it back up, yelling and running away again! It was clever! Not to mention it was a little gruesome which was awesome!
