In reply to The Animation Commendation. It's voice acting. Both have distintive voices. Also, Ice Cube has being much more known as an actor than rapper for the past 20 years. Channing Tatum is getting better.

I didn’t realize that Del Toro would be producing this, now that I know, I AM SO EXCITED!! Though “producing” could mean anything (take for example the not so great horror flick “Momma”), everything seems to be lining up in a great direction! I, for one, am super excited about most of the cast list! I’ve grown up with more than half of these names in Spanish, so it’ll be exciting for them to do something like this! YAY! DEL TORO!

WHOA WHOA! But what about Gabriel Iglesias (who is a comedic genius)?! Or Diego Luna, or Hector Elizondo and Danny Trejo — All of which are well respected actors and definitely not top tier. Yes there may be some big names here and there, but most of these guys have chops and creativity when it comes to acting. I’m super excited about this cast list….but that may just be because I’m Mexican 😉 lol.

Wait, animated comedy? I thought this was supposed to be a Romeo and Juliet esque Day of the Dead story… Neither seem like very good fodder for comedy to me. Still think this sounds super exciting though! I have a feeling that we should expect great things from this studio in the future.
