That genie in the first logo reminds me of the beast on the Broadway logo of Beauty and the beast. I like it!

I knew about this for a while 😀 But I’m pretty sure you guys know that Johnathan Freeman the voice of Jafar actually did him in a stage production of Aladdin in Seattle a while back and I think I read somewhere that he might return to play him in the 2014 version however I don’t know about that…but I’m defiantly planning to see this!

I’m definitely looking forward to this but also have a hint of concern since the Disney Broadway shows have been either hits (Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Lion King) or misses (Tarzan, The Little Mermaid).

As a Disney fan I hope the stage version of “Aladdin” is in the latter! The film version of “Aladdin” had moments that felt like a 1940’s musical vibe so I hope they can do some of those big brassy fun numbers.

FINALLY. I’ve been wanting this for years. I love the stage show they have at Disneyland. Hopefully the Broadway version has better success than the Little Mermaid and Tarzan!
