Aladdin, Peter Pan, Lion King, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Tarzan, Treasure planet….all examples of Disney movies with Male main characters. I grew up during the Disney Renaissance in the 1990s. So I guess that’s why I know. I am also glad that it is a male main character! I was hoping for more variety.

I just hate how they dumb down the titles. Like Rapunzel sounds so much more authentic. The ice queen too.

Jack and the Beanstalk would sound epic. But maybe the dumbing down is easier for kids to say to tell their parents and might owe up to the musicals success.
